Wales Black Mountains Yoga Retreat, 25 – 28 June 2021

Nearby view towards Table Mountain

This Anusara yoga retreat led by Bridget Woods Kramer, is a chance for us to come together as a community. The practice of Anusara yoga offers a brilliant alignment system for our asana practice but it is infused with a heart quality, the real purpose of yoga. Anusara means to follow your heart and flow with Grace and this retreat will be a time for coming home, to our hearts, individually and collectively.

Morning meditation practice
Two yoga practices, awakening morning flow and restorative evening flow

With plenty of time throughout the day to enjoy the glorious surroundings of Sugarloaf Mountain, including guided walks with Patrick Holford, BSc, DipION, FBANT, NTCRP, a pioneer in new approaches to health and nutrition.

The Llanthony Valley and Sugar Loaf mountain are jewels of the Welsh Black Mountains. Between the two lies the magical valley of Forest Coalpit. Nestled here is Fforest Barn, where you can enjoy total privacy and breath-taking views. The ideal place to rejuvenate, explore and enjoy the Black Mountains, perfectly located, equidistant from Abergavenny and the idyllic small town of Crickhowell. It is minutes from the Llanthony Valley, with stunning walks in every direction. Fforest barn fuses a 17th century oak beamed stone barn with an eco-friendly Dutch barn giving the feel of ancient Wales with all mod cons as well as a selection of eco-friendly glamping options. Enjoy delicious vegetarian food throughout your stay.
